I’m Hungarian and of course pleaple expect me to share Hungarian dishes with them. However, I also enjoy dishes from around the world. After all, versatility makes us interesting. I love cooking, and not exclusively Hungarian dishes.

Beef Bourguignon By Helen M Radics!

Let me take you around the world through some of my most favourite international dishes. Today we’ll take a trip around France’s rich culinary world…

If you follow my video you will realize how easy it is to re-create this lovely dish, that you were always afraid to attempt as it sounded too complicated. Well, it isn’t. So let me show you all the steps behind creating a sucessful Beef Bourguignon.

Today, I share with you one of the most famous French dishes, Beef Bourguignon My aunt married a Frenchman, and whenever she visited, she would make it for the family. This proves that you don’t need to be French to cook their delicious dishes.

2 tbsp of olive oil
30 cubes of bacon
1 onion, chopped
20 pearl onions
15 mushrooms, cut into four
3 carrots, sliced
3 lb of beef, cubed
3 cloves of garlic
3 springs of thyme (only the leaves)
1 tbsp tomato paste
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
1 tbsp flour
3 springs of parsley, chopped
3 cups of dry red wine
3 cups of beef stock
2 bay leaves
3 tbsp of butter

Gether all your ingredients, believe me, it saves a lot of time. I also like to do my dishes while I am cooking. So at the end I don’t have anything else to do but enjoy a lovely meal with my family.
